Embroidery

Bulgarian embroidery has some of the most beautiful examples of its kind in the world.

On this course we aim not only teaching you the techniques,  but also  impart to participants the historical importance of such work, the symbolism behind the designs and the history that made such work important in Bulgarian culture.

We will also encourage participants to explore their own creative urges and use the traditional embroidery skills they have learned to make modern contemporary pieces that reflect their modern life.  The best of both worlds.
